Dawn on the moor. The opening section is driven by the insistence of a looping, syncopated riff. This piece was one of the earliest additions to the project. As the sky ignites and the wildlife shake themselves back into life once again. The next section explores the perpetual struggle between predator and prey and the reversal of fortunes within the natural pecking order. Finally dusk, as the sun sleeps in circles and the mist rolls slowly across the fen. The moor transforms once more beneath the nocturnal canvas that darkness can offer. At last, the sun begins to breathe life back into a new day, and the cycle begins again.
