Wanted

Six Wigwams are not searching for celebrity status "A to Z" wannabees. The performing arts contains enough noise, vanity, opportunism and synthetic opinion masquerading as the next best thing. What we want is something quieter and considerably rarer.

Passionate male and female vocalists of maturity, character and emotional intelligence. Performers who are more interested in truth, atmosphere, timing, interpretation and collaboration than visibility. Retired singers are especially welcome, having stepped away from the industry or never wished to enter it or simply survived long enough to value sincerity over attention.

Guide vocal ideas already exist for certain pieces, but collaboration is preferred over dictation. The intention is to discover what anothers voice may naturally reveal within the work. This music matters more than tribal ego. Some pieces require restraint. Some require character. Some require fracture, warmth, humour, darkness, distance or stillness. Technical ability matters, but honesty matters more. There is no guaranteed finacial reward here.

This is not a search for products. It is a search for resonance.
